  • Sheriff on a Shelf Holiday Contest
    December 1 through January 4

    This summer everyone had fun sending Flat Sheriff on adventures. For the holidays, we are bringing him back in a new festive way with Sheriff on a Shelf. Inspired by the classic Elf on a Shelf tradition, families can place Sheriff on a Shelf in creative holiday scenes, take photos, and enter to win prizes.

    Each Sheriff on a Shelf is numbered and includes a QR code on the back. You can pick yours up at the Culpeper County Sheriff’s Office between 8 and 4, Monday through Friday. Parents should bring ID so we can add your family to the contest roster.

    Participants are encouraged to get creative. Holiday decorations, signs, props, and playful setups help bring Sheriff on a Shelf to life.

    By submitting photos of Sheriff on a Shelf, you grant the Culpeper County Sheriff’s Office permission to use, reproduce, and distribute the photos in social media and promotional materials. The Culpeper County Sheriff’s Office will not claim ownership of the photos or use them for commercial purposes without further consent.
